We are a social club based at the University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research (UQCCR) at the Herston Campus.

“The UQCCR Student Club is a vital addition to our research life. It transforms the centre from just a place of work into a vibrant community where students feel connected, supported, and professionally empowered.”

The UQCCR student club was formed in 2024 with a primary aim of enrichment of the student body and their experience at the UQ Centre for Clinical Research. In addition, we hope to improve connections between students, staff and the wider community across the Centre, with positive impacts on their social life and professional connections. Furthermore, we also hope to engage with postgraduates across the wider Herston, St Lucia and RBWH campuses.

Project Funding

APS funds student projects, covering costs for events, workshops, and community engagement.

Bursaries

APS bursaries provide financial support for conference travel and placements.

Rent Relief

Support available for postgrads doing it tough. One-time payment covering up to 1 week of rent (max $350).

Club Funding

APS offers funding of up to $1,000 to support initiatives led by UQ clubs.

Academic Editing

Academic editing for HDR students, supporting theses, articles, and proposals to meet scholarly standards.

HDR Coffee Catch-Ups

Monthly drink and finger food from Patina at Alumni Court. A relaxed environment to share ideas and chat about research.
