Postgraduate Art Prize
What takes you back?
Theme: Nostalgia
The APS Postgraduate Art Prize 2026 invites UQ postgraduate students to explore the theme of Nostalgia through art.
Think about what takes you back: a childhood memory, a familiar place, a cultural tradition, an object, a person or a moment you still remember. Your work can interpret nostalgia in whatever way is meaningful to you.
The competition is open to all currently enrolled UQ postgraduate students, including HDR and coursework students from every discipline and campus. No professional art experience is required. Original visual artworks can include painting, drawing, photography, digital art, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, textiles and other creative formats.
