The Association of Postgraduate Students is the peak student representative organisation for postgraduate students at UQ.

ABOUT US
Founded in 2011 to unite the variety of postgraduate clubs, societies and informal groups exist around UQ, APS exists to encourage a postgraduate community, promote postgraduate wellbeing and provide a voice for postgraduate students at UQ.
On Wednesday 18 May 2011, the UQ Association of Postgraduate Students was formed, to provide UQ postgraduate students with a central organisation to administer postgraduate governance issues (appoint representatives to central committees, communicate between postgraduates in different schools, and convey issues and concerns to the university). At midday on Tuesday 7 June 2011, the inaugural Annual General Meeting of the UQ Association of Postgraduate Students was held for electing an executive (consisting of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer) for the association.
