UQ Chinese Medical Association (UQCMA) brings together Chinese, international, and domestic medical students who are interested in Chinese culture, medicine, and building connections within the UQ Medicine community.

The club hosts a mix of social, cultural, academic, and professional development activities throughout the year. Members can attend welcome events, Chinese New Year celebrations, social gatherings, peer-led tutorials, OSCE and clinical skills workshops, revision sessions, mentorship programs, and career and placement information sessions. Whether you’re looking to make friends, strengthen your clinical skills, or connect with senior students and alumni, UQCMA provides a welcoming and supportive community for medical students at every stage of their degree.

Bursaries

APS bursaries provide financial support for conference travel and placements.

Rent Relief

Support available for postgrads doing it tough. One-time payment covering up to 1 week of rent (max $350).

Club Funding

APS offers funding of up to $1,000 to support initiatives led by UQ clubs.

Academic Editing

Academic editing for HDR students, supporting theses, articles, and proposals to meet scholarly standards.

HDR Coffee Catch-Ups

Monthly drink and finger food from Patina at Alumni Court. A relaxed environment to share ideas and chat about research.
