Bursary Application rounds

  • 2027 Bursary Application Rounds

    • Round 1: 1–28 February 2027
    • Round 2: 1–30 April 2027
    • Round 3: 1–31 July 2027

Conference Date Requirement: The conference must take place within the 2027 calendar year (1 January–31 December 2027), regardless of when the application is submitted.

Submit your application during the relevant application period to be considered for that round. All applicants will be notified of the outcome after the round closes.

Eligibility Criteria​

  • Open to UQ postgraduate students seeking to enhance their education and career development.
  • Equitable allocation between Higher Degree by Research (HDR) and Coursework students.
  • Must submit supporting documentation; incomplete applications without adequate evidence will not be considered.
  • Applicants cannot have received a postgraduate bursary in the same calendar year.
  • Acknowledge the Application Agreement, Consent Statement & Review Panel Terms of Reference

The form is now closed. Applications will reopen in early 2027.
