Eligibility:

• The driver must hold a valid and appropriate driver's license in Queensland.

• The driver must be at least 18 years of age.

Safety Requirements:

• The driver must adhere to all road rules and regulations applicable within Queensland.

• The driver must wear a seatbelt at all times while operating the golf buggy, if available.

• Passengers must also wear seatbelts, if available, and must remain seated while the buggy is in motion.

• The buggy must not be operated under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substances that impair the driver’s ability to operate the vehicle safely.

Operational Guidelines:

• The buggy must only be driven on designated paths, roads, or areas where its use is permitted.

• The maximum speed limit for the golf buggy must not exceed the posted speed limits or 25 km/h, whichever is lower.

• The driver must not operate the buggy in a reckless or dangerous manner.

• The buggy must not carry more passengers than it is designed to hold.

Damage and Liability:

• The driver is responsible for any damage to the buggy, property, or persons that occurs as a result of their operation of the vehicle.

• The driver agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the organisation or entity providing the buggy against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the golf buggy.

Prohibited Uses:

• The buggy must not be used for racing, stunts, or any unauthorised commercial purposes.

• The golf buggy must not be driven on public roads unless explicitly allowed by local regulations.

Maintenance and Care:

• The driver must report any mechanical issues or damages to the buggy immediately to the responsible authority.

• The buggy must be returned in the same condition it was received, with all accessories intact.

Termination of Use:

• The organisation or entity providing the buggy reserves the right to terminate the use of the buggy at any time if these terms and conditions are violated.

• Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to, the loss of buggy privileges.
