Project Funding

APS offers funding of up to $1,000 to support initiatives led by UQ postgraduate students.

When we consider applications, we look for projects that:

Are student-led and support current postgrads
Show good use of funds and value for money
Provide evidence of planning
Fit within UQ policies and relevant legislation

This helps us make sure funding is used fairly and effectively for the benefit of all postgrads.

Payment Processing

How would you like APS to process your funding?

Direct payment - APS pays into your account after you issue an invoice. Requires an ABN.

Grant funding (direct payment to you) - No invoice or ABN required, but you must provide invoices/receipts, event photos (if applicable), participant feedback after the activity.

Payment directly to a supplier - APS pays your supplier on your behalf. Requires a supplier invoice or secure payment link.

Reimbursement - you pay first, then send receipts to APS for repayment.

Prepaid procurement - APS organises and pays for items/services (e.g. venue hire) directly.
