UQ Public Health Association (UQ PHA)

UQ PHA is a faculty-based student society for undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in talking or learning about public health, health sciences, environmental health or other related areas.
The UQ PHA membership base is comprised of students and staff from various health and non-health related disciplines, including nursing, social science, biomedical science, math, law, and medicine. Being a faculty-based society, UQ PHA does also have a large membership base and additional support for students studying degrees or subjects in public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, nutrition, health promotion, health systems and health economics. Our members are interested in social and professional events with like-minded individuals who all wish to help address the world’s most critical and emerging public health issues.
